303whp Im stoked

Well today i finally got to dyno my car at school after a very long wait especially since i havent put my downpipes on yet because i wanted to know how much i gain once i do ....theres no video since i was driving the car on the dyno but here is my printed off sheet and no there was no torque reading because of the spark plug cable cant pickup the coil on plug setup ..... This was my first pull 303whp corrected data then when the car started to heat up and the intake temp started rising the horsepower went down as far as 270whp but we let the car cool down a bit and i was up to 299... this is why i want to go with some kind of cooling spray on the intercoolers... again im pretty happy so far that i made this much of a change from stock and btw the dyno also said I was losing 55hp through the drivetrain which suck but thats what we get for having an awd car

I just cant wait to put on the downpipes and get a retune to get a more accurate hp

i didnt use defoulers i am running test pipes the only o2's i used are the top ones and tied up the other two to a crossmember under my transmission probably not the best way but o well the car gave me enough hell and cuts and bruises ...... well to answer your idea of wether or not to go with awe or have your own made my best advice is just find out how much it will cost to have it made because both will probably have the same output in horsepower and sound........ i went with awe downpipes because i knew i could hook them up to K04's when i get the chance and the fact that the piping was made well and doesnt have a lot of cuts and welds like i see most exhuast shops do.... and i knew it would match up to my Twin1 Catback from AWE

thanks bro that sounds very reasonable. i didnt even think of the fitment the ko4s. I have a straight pipe right now and it sounds like shit now do to the original clamps so im looking to do the down pipes and 3in all the way back and just throw a muffler to quite things down at the end.

The EGT's are different from car to car even of the same yr.

I know mine is both black EGT's so when i would order my new EGT's i got to make sure they are both black.

The black ones are positioned both on the Intake manifold in the back side, both to their respected side of the maifold ( Left egt on the left of the intake and the right egt on the right of the intake )

The one that has a black and a red EGT, the red egt is for the passenger side, and those are hooked up differently.

and yes, the red one does have a different/extra tab.

Did your car come original Black/black or black/red?

If u go to JHMmotorsport.com u can see where they explain the location of the EGT's and they types you may have.

Damn, i did not know this is how it looked.
I did not know they had a Dyno or even a AWD dyno, we had 2 dyno Jets with ventalation and everything, but not a AWD.
Wish i would of gone there! haha it was just to far for me to go there. Boston was far enough for me and it was $$ to live there too! haha
