Thumbs up IPB Autosports

http://www.ipb-autosport.com/
So I have to give props to my local shop here in Sacramento. After having a really REALLy bad experiance with Elk Grove Audi for a timing belt/Water pump change my car was leaking coolant. It is a very long and sad story but I no longer trusted the dealership to touch my car. I know big suprise there.

So I take my car to IPB Last November and they have been great to work with. The shop owner is a car guy through and through with a passion for all things fast, not to mention very professional and accommodating.

6 months after the leak is fixed and i get a low coolant warning again. I check everything I can see for the leak and can't find it. It isn't coming from the coolant tank or any of the hoses off the tank. I can't see any coolant coming from the radiator and the water pump shows no signs of leaking. I call them up, they have my car in for 4 days keeping the coolant pressurized for all 4 days and they can't repeat the leak. They replace the cap and charge me for 1 hours of work and the cap (they worked on the car for a lot more then an hour). He lets me know to keep an eye on it and bring it back at the first sign of coolant loss again. Sure enough two days later it is leaking coolant. I bring it in, and the next day they call me to pick it up. No charge. AND no more leaking coolant.

When the time comes I will be taking my car there to be chipped. If you are in the Sacramento area and looking for a good mechanic that you can trust I highly recommend these guys.
