Unhappy s4 Problem

I was on my way back on the highway and this slow driving person in front of me was going like 50, so i floored it and was going around him in 4th gear and the rpms got up to about 4 grand and i hear a hissing sound, so i let off and did it again just to see if it would do it again and it did. So i revved it some in neutral and at about 5 grand it popped kind of like a blow off valve.
I did that 3 times and it did it everytime. On the 4th time it didnt do it anymore and now my car lost alot of power, it will only put you back in the seat a little when you get on it. I'm just curious whats going on.
Did i blow a line and not getting boost? or the dvs go bad? Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

most likely have a boost leak somewhere, hence the hissing. Check your lines, and if worst comes to worst, go to autozone and by some leak finder smoke. Check that first, and get back to us with what u find.

throttle body boot.. if you haven't replaced it then thatz most likely what ripped apart. suppose to be a major problem with the 1999-2001 s4's! that and a bunch of other hoses like the F hose and shitt. goodluck

If you have the stock diverter valves that could be the prob. If your hearing a blow off valve sound it's def a leak somewheres.
